Land of Liberty
One of Kansas City’s premier architectural landmarks, Liberty Memorial Museum, is the only public museum in the United States dedicated to the history of World War I. A recent renovation added state-of-the-art interactive technology to bring history to life. The Tower After Hours program offers visitors a chance to see the Kansas City skyline from the top of the 217-foot Memorial Tower on the first Friday of every month, April through September, 7-10 pm. 100 W. 26th St. in Penn Valley Park, 816-784-1918, www.libertymemorialmuseum.org...
